Great museum, and yeah they have a lot of stuff put in the small space. If you want to know about the Tonawandas, this is the place to visit. Very interesting spread of documents, newspaper records, and memorabilia from the 1800s onward. This was an old railway station when the NYC RR was operating in the area and shut down when the tracks were relocated to their current route. Still really cool to think that where you park your car was where the tracks laid!
This historical building use to be a railroad station during the hay-days of building the Erie Canal.
It's a cute little place. Emphasis on the little. You can see everything in this museum in 10-15 minutes. However, the guide was very friendly to me and I found it short, but enjoyable.
I waited 47 years too long to stop by here.
