Isle View County Park

Beautiful park along the Niagara River.

A peaceful little park down by the Niagara river! Plenty of picnic tables, but I didn't see grills. Not as much a place floor a large group... it's more for a single family. Lots of people hiking, jogging, and walking the pooches. Free parking, free to use the park. There's a building that looks like it should sell hot dogs but it was all closed up. I don't know if that is permanent but it might be. Mississippi Mudd's and Old Man River are just like a mile down the street, you can get your hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice cream and come down to Isle View Park. My favorite part is the Gazebo with the picnic tables on it... it's right out on the water. Really pretty. I'll be coming back here for sure!

This park is not taken care of : Docks are broken, bathroom buildings are run down as well as worn picnic tables, over grown grass and empty concession stands. Stick to Isle view and other parks along the river .

This park has great view of the Niagara River. This allows the avid picture taker to take pictures of the landscape that look like a pro took them. Paths for bicyclists and for pedestrians. Pet friendly and plenty of trash cans to dispose of your trash while your walking your pets. Plenty of park benches to sit and rest or enjoy the park. Kid friendly with a playground and bathrooms. Boat ramps to put your boat in and out of the water during boating season. Parking gets filled up quickly during the summer months so go early. If you get hungry during your walk, The Isle View Bar and Restaurant is close by on Niagara Street in Tonawanda. Great food and prices.
