I worked with Diane at Melting point to design a custom engagement ring and I can’t say any more positive things about the results and the experience. We started with a rough sketch and progressed to the final design over the course of several meetings. Diane was incredibly detail oriented and provided excellent guidance and explained all the design trade-offs throughout our meetings. She was also very attentive during our meeting, and accommodating to my schedule and availability.

Diane is truly the best custom jeweler in Buffalo. She designs works of art that are carefully created with her expert eye for quality and design at a fair price. I cannot stress enough how much of a joy she is to work with.

I first came upon her when my wedding rings had to be redesigned after they were cut off due to an accident. After going to a few other places, I knew Diane as the one to be trusted with such a sentimental item. I absolutely loved the finished product and constantly receive compliments. She took a good amount of time to get to know who I was before going through the process of creating a whole new ring.

Next, she created a perfect necklace for my mother for Christmas with all of her 7 grandchildren's names engraved on it - it was an original piece that my mother adores and wears often. She also was kind enough to complete it at the last minute after we had a new baby born a few days before the holidays.

Perhaps the most important piece she has created for me was in honor of my dear friend who passed away from breast cancer at age 40. She sat for an hour to hear us talk about Julie - the kind of friend, mother, teacher, and daughter she was. Julie's legacy was important to her and she truly looked at this project as an honor. We finally decided on a necklace that had Julie's actual handwriting engraved on it. It was so well crafted, 18 more of us have now have ordered one to remember her by.

Diane truly is a special person and not just an amazing jeweler. There is no one else around that I would trust to create those special jewelry pieces that represent so many memories.

Very professional shop in a convenient downtown location. Diane was very helpful meeting with me several times to design my wedding band. She was also great with explaining the metal alternatives, sizes, styles, etc.

I went to Diane due to her unique and creative style, and stayed for her unique and creative style! She worked with me (and eventually my fiancee) to create the perfect engagement ring that is truly unique. She really loves trying new things and coming up with a perfect ring. We're now talking to her about our wedding bands and are nothing but excited about the ideas we've already come up with.
I would hands down recommend everyone to work with her to come up with something unique and amazing.

I'm fairly new to the Buffalo area, so when a piece of my jewelry needed to be fixed I immediately looked up jewelers and decided to contact Diane. I am so glad I made this choice. She was able to fix my jewelry in no time and has been so kind throughout the whole process. She is even helping me choose the perfect gift for my mother's birthday.
