Transit Drive-In Theatre

The Transit Drive-In is a great time. Pet friendly(as long as your pets are friendly), reasonable prices ($10ish per person for 2 movies you want to see is hard to beat!), great food, and you can even set up in chairs outside your car if you like. A movie going experience not too many get to have, and I'm proud to have such a good quality drive-in in our community.

I love that we still have a drive in when they seem to be dying out everywhere else. Some of my favorite childhood summertime memories involved sitting out under the stars to watch a movie on the big screen. I've happily passed that tradition down to my daughter, too. Thanks to the Transit Drive-In for helping us keep the tradition alive!

The food is surprisingly decent! Fries n chicken fingers- generous portions, very good. A tad pricey but I don't mind supporting one of the last drive- ins in this area! The place is clean, friendly staff. I fear one day they will be a thing of the past. It's good family time. Plus you get 2/3 movies. And a nice little play area with swings etc. For the kiddies before the shows start.Highly recommend.

This is a great place to take the family. My family makes it's a tradition to come here at least once every summer but usually end up going more than that. I feel everyone should experience going to a drive in at least once in their life before they're gone.

We've been going to Transit Drive - In for years, and now enjoy bringing our children there as we! Always a good lineup of movies and new releases. Staff is friendly and courteous. Concessions offer a good variety, at great prices!
This drive in is wildly popular, so be sure to get there early! We went on a Thursday night with beautiful weather, arrived 10 minutes after the box office opened, and waited in a line that was down the street! It was worth the wait.... But if you want to make sure you are able to see the movie of your choice, definitely get there before the box office opens! Keep your eye on the Facebook page... They will often open earlier to alleviate traffic on a really nice night. There's a playground and mini golf to occupy your time as you wait for your movie to start, and you could always grab food from the concessions and have yourself a picnic dinner! A perfect way to spend a beautiful summer evening.
