Very good food and deserts. multiple veggie options (including a veggie burger) as well as fast service, affordable prices, delicious food and a nice view.

The pond house is a great place. Friendly staff, great food, clean bathrooms, excellent service! The booths inside are well spaced, and there's a picnic table outside you can eat at as well. They have a drive thru as well, so you can get it to go. The onion rings are good, easily on par with A&W, maybe not as seasoned, but the spicy dip with them is great. The hotdogs are really massive foot long Sausage dogs. The Southern dog has pulled pork on it and slaw, and is insanely good. I'd pay double for it. The chicken is awesome, batter is just right! The gravy is a real treat. Tastes like really turkey gravy, really thick, and good enough to drink. The French fries are a well done and with that gravy is a work of art. The coffee uses the Alterra brew system which I find good but a touch over extracted. I don't know if there is a way to reduce the water used by 5-10% but I think it would be a good idea. We had no room left to try the deserts or soft serve ice cream, and so we retreated home for a food nap.

Best food over ever ate in my life, I would eat the taco salad on my death bed with the loaded fries. 10/10 we will be back tomorrow for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
