Merrymeeting

Nice little shop with lots of artisan crafts. Staff was quite knowledgeable and friendly, offering great advice on places to visit. If you have some binoculars you may even see some seals on the rocks in water.

MerryMeeting is more than local Arts and Crafts, they invite you into the heart of Newfoundland. Offering great service, suggestions, solutions to needs, delicious home-grown preserves, and treated us like family! We have been camping here for two days able to use wifi and facilities. Thank you Rita and John! We especially loved cooking cod stew on the beach and the boat ride this morning to see the puffins, seals and wrecks along the rocky shore outside the harbour.

Wonderful story telling. Rustic building. Great music. Extremely interesting life story of "Iron Mike." Local artisan crafts. Great location.

They have a small collection of nick knacks and paintings, all locally produced. They offer coffee and have rest rooms as well as picnic tables on the beach.

Quaint little artisan gift shop with knowledgeable staff. Good views of the bay.
