Great location. Great service staff. Great decor. The food was excellent. You have to try the Vinegar pie. Highly recommend

The halibut was amazing! I could have easily eaten another portion (but I eat a lot). The sauce that came with it was fantastic as well. Great modern restaurant. I would definitely recommend it!

Overall a really good experience! Great looking room. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple of beers. Our server was as really friendly. We shared their steam mussels (it was a huge portion) and cod tacos. I found their taco too spicy with the jalapeño. Their vinegar pie was surprisingly delicious. It had a velvety custard texture.

Tonight was an amazing food experience in St. John's at the Merchant Tavern. The service was impeccable & was run like a well-oiled machine, where every staff member worked in harmony to make my dining experience perfect. A BIG shout out to Kayla who was an attentive server and was well-versed in the Merchant's culture and menu. She is an awesome addition to the Merchant team for sure! Cheers! ????????????

Had a great piece of Halibut. Lots of great local beer available. Didn't have dessert but those in our party that had them raved about them. The tables and the chairs at the tables are a little too close together. Otherwise great place.
