“A massive and varied choice of drinks - all the usual beer styles plus seltzers, ciders and even a mead when I was in there tonight. Make it easy for yourself and get a beer flight and let the staff help you choose. Dean looked after us very well tonight, super friendly and also gave us suggestions for places to visit during the rest of our trip in Nova Scotia. With checking out the merch to because they have some less-than-common items, such as best trap handles!”

“Stunning vineyard, delicious wine, delightful owners. This winery is in such a beautiful area, you get great views of the valley, lovely spots to sit overlooking the vineyard. The owners, Darren and Sue, are so warm and welcoming and so happy to tell you about their wines. The other employees (especially Sarah and Gregory) are delightful and super knowledgeable. When you arrive, employees are happy to give you a tour of the winery and to offer you a tasting. Lots of delicious wines to choose from - my personal favourite is the Rose Eh. Love that the artwork on the bottles is done by local artists! A must visit spot in Bear River.”

“It's sad moving from BC to NS to find out that private liquor stores aren't a thing. A few of the locations where attempting to be helpful and bring in the items I was after. Sadly, due to a limited catalog it just wasn't possible. Some locations have great staff that love their job and know their product. Others have lifers that hope you're getting the usual 12 pack and leaving so they can get back to their cellphones.”
