Married On The East Coast

Shannon and her photographer were exactly what we were looking for when we decided to elope in Nova Scotia.
We chose the "simple and sweet" elopement package. It was perfect for us. We included a bouquet of locally grown flowers and it was the most beautiful arrangement I have ever seen!

I am originally from NS but have since moved away and Shannon made the entire process from start to finish the easiest most organized it could be. If you feel you will leave something out or are worried you wont remember something on your wedding day, Shannon will! She was soo informative and had thought of every aspect we needed leading up to, during and after the wedding.

The ceremony was the most wonderful of all! She was patient with our small children and allowed the evening to flow without pressure. She has such a genuine love for what she does.

We cannot recommend and thank you enough Shannon.

Shannon worked hard to make our very small wedding very special. We are not local to Nova Scotia, Shannon suggested several picturesque locations in the area for us to choose from. She handled coordinating witnesses, times and locations.
As an extra special customer service moment, Shannon suggested moving out elopement up one day- since it was only the two of us- because of original day was 99% chance of rain. The sunset wedding was spectacular.
She also wrote out a great ceremony, that was personal and touching.
Shannon coordinated with Hillary to photograph our ceremony. The two women work so well together. Hillary's pictures were beautiful and captured the moments perfectly.
I can't say enough good things about Married on the East Coast. If you're looking to get married in Nova Scotia, Shannon should be your first choice.

Shannon was such a wonderful addition to and integral part of our wedding day! From the very first meeting to ensure we were the right fit for each other, it was clear her sincerity and warmth, thoughtfulness and organization, and her love of true love were beyond what we could have hoped to find in an officiant. With Shannon, details you may never have thought of are taken care of and her questionnaire to get to know you as a couple make for a nostalgic trip down memory lane (and a fantastic date night with your partner and a bottle of wine while you answer them!). The care she takes in crafting a beautifully personalized ceremony won't leave a dry eye in the house!

Shannon was thoughtful, organized and the perfect choice for our wedding day in Nova Scotia! She had moved to Antigonish and I had seen her social media around the same time we were switching gears to a backyard style wedding due to the pandemic. She was so keen to take us on, get to know us, and incorporate our story into the words she shared at our ceremony. It all felt very special and personal and I know a lot of our guests were very impressed! She is bubbly, enthusiastic, and also very kind. We highly recommend Shannon for any Nova Scotia couple!

Our ceremony was absolutely perfect thanks to Shannon! She thoughtfully wrote a ceremony that included all of the things that are important to Brock & I; family, adventure, our love story, and everything in between. We also did a rose ceremony for our moms and a wine box ceremony, which we never even thought of, and both were such nice additions to the day! Our guests are still talking about how wonderful the ceremony was, and how they felt as if they knew Brock & I even more after it because of how personalized it was. Shannon is the most caring person who will do whatever she can to ensure your wedding day is amazing. She was always available to answer my questions, and made sure our rehearsal ran smoothly, especially with a large wedding party!
