Food portions have shrunk a bit over time, however, the quality is there. Clams were amazing, pan seared scallops were good (got 4 scallops) and sweet potato fries were also good. Pan seared battered haddock was delicious too!
Used their pan fried haddock on my southwest salad. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked.
The food was very good. Seems a little off from what we were use to from the previous owners. When you put out seafood chowder it must have seafood and not just a bit of lobster and haddock. There were no scallops in my bowel. Good but a bit disappointed! Service was excellent we must say!!
Spent a week here in NS during lobster season as part of a life long seafood addiction and dream to eat the freshest lobster possible... Dennis point cafe made it a complete dream with their seafood chowder, lobster poutine and hot lobster sandwich.
The hot lobster sandwich with the creamed lobster was mind blowing, insanely good, with the poutine just a hair less amazing but still incredible. Their chowder wasn't the absolute best I had this week, but it was a VERY close second if I'm being honest. Just absolutely phenomenal experience all around, great decor, clean and spacious too!
Karen d'Entremont even warned us about the incoming, likely to be loud, coffee breakers from the wharf before we chose a seat and she made sure we had a nice peaceful spot with a gorgeous ocean/wharf view. Her attention to detail and care for us as customers was second to none. Definitely going to come back any chance I get now that we live fairly close over in NB.
Really good food! We all had the Acadian Sampler which consists of a homemade bun, seafood chowder, fish cake with chow chow( delicious!!) and rappie pie with molasses on the side. This was new to me and it took some time to figure out how I best liked it. ( with a little bit of molasses on it) In the end I’m glad I tried it. We also got the coconut cream pie but we ate it too fast for me to take a picture of it. It was great! Dad also had the cider called ‘ no boat on Sunday’ which was good and he said he would definitely get again. We will be back for sure!
