Deep Sky Eye Observatory

We stayed in the cabin and were pleasantly surprised by warmth of our welcome. A big thanks to Amanda for providing a variety of snacks including homemade muffins! The presentation that Tim put on was amazing and informative. His enthusiasm for astronomy was contagious. Tim and Amanda went out of their way to ensure everyone enjoyed their experience. It is a must see if you are in the area even worth a special trip.

Both my wife and I have attended several astronomy presentations and Tim's presentation was by far the most informative and exciting. The whole property is so peaceful and Tim and Amanda are so accommodating, going over and above our expectations not only in their presentation, but also their hospitality. Their night sky bubbles are one of the most magical experiences we've ever had and even though it's a bit out of the way, if you want a unique experience and to learn more about our solar system and how to enjoy it, this place is a must visit. We would love to have spend more time there and we intend to return!

We stayed in the cabin and it was so relaxing. They have an excellent set up and add little extras like snacks, indoor and outdoor games which were greatly appreciated. Tim and Amanada are very friendly. We highly recommend Deep Sky!!!!

We spent the night in one of their bubble tents. It was beautiful to sleep under the stars. Amanda and her husband were so attentive with us. In the morning we went kayaking in the river near by which made the experience even better. Was so beautiful we didn’t want to leave. Would highly recommend staying there 💙

We’ve been trying to visit this place and to catch a good stargazing forecast for some time, and we were so glad we managed last summer. That was a spectacular experience! Thank you Tim and Amanda for your hospitality, sharing your stories and knowledge! Amanda was so welcoming and explained every detail of our stay.
This is a place to relax, to enjoy the moment and to learn something new. The bubble was super comfortable, it was cozy inside and very warm during the night. There are a few fire pits, you could do kayaking or just watch the sunset over the river.
The observation experience was informative. We loved the part when Tim showed constellations just on the sky! Wish we had it back at school.
