Shag Harbour Incident Society UFO Interpretative Centre

If you're going to go out to Shag Harbour, why wouldn't you stop in to learn more about the 1967 UFO incident?
I visited with a bus tour so I didn't stay long. Lots of first hand written statements and government documents are on display.

This centre needs a lot more exposure. This was a big deal in the neighbourhood and should have many more visitors. Nit has many first person accounts of the incident and some really interesting artifacts.

Very cool place to stop for some good pics and a very interesting backstory! Views of the Atlantic, clean washrooms, and an alien lobster, what more could a person ask for really? Just off the road and a free public site!

10 minutes before closing on Monday, we arrived at this centre after the long drive. I thought we couldn't make the trip!

Was it worth it? Definitely for UFO fans. Nothing special about this centre, except some news clippings on the wall. I purchased a book which is $10 cheaper than Amazon and I got the chance to talk to the witness who was the first person reported the incident to RCMP. That made my whole visit complete and it was only a start to dig into this case further.
