When I found out Kevin was a realtor here in HRM, he was the first person I called when we were looking for our first home. I knew Kevin growing up, so I knew it was going to be great to work with him - it was. Kevin worked hard to find us a home in the location we wanted and in the price range we wanted. He went above and beyond to get us our home in this challenging market. When something came up in our walk through and inspection, he made phone calls there and then to get us a great deal on what we needed. He had the integrity and honesty to share with us that a home inspector he had recommended would no longer be recommended to future customers.

I don't think we will be looking for another house for a while because we are happy with the deal Kevin got us. But if we are, I'll be calling him again.

My partner and I had finally decided to carve out a place that we could call our own. We didn't know the first thing about buying real estate, and so we knew we needed an expert to help guide our journey. In comes Kevin. Kevin came to us as a recommendation from a friend who had recently used his services. He quickly got a grasp of what we were looking for, what our budget was, and when we were looking at getting into the market. He must have answered a few dozen questions, and although we sometimes felt embarrassed to be asking what we thought were rookie questions, he took the time to walk us through whatever concept we were curious about. With confidence in our guide, we began our journey, eventually coming to everyone's first major challenge: what to put as an offer on a property. We had seen the property and knew that this is what we wanted. Kevin helped us get knowledge on what the market was currently like and provided us the winning bid on several similar properties so we could get a sense of where to start. After landing on a number my partner and I were both comfortable with, we were elated to get a call from Kevin informing us that ours was the winning bid!

Kevin immediately got to work, letting us know the next steps and recommending lawyers and home inspection services to help ensure we were buying a great property. The situation felt a bit dicey at times, specifically when it came to locking in the financing, and I must have called Kevin over a dozen times, worried that the financing would not come through, or that the home inspection wouldn't work, and each time he would calm me down and reassure me that this was all part of the process and lo and behold, everything worked out great!

When it came to finally taking over the property, Kevin gave us a final tour of the property to make sure everything was in order and surprised my partner and I with a housewarming gift! We had nothing but a positive experience with Kevin and would recommend him to anyone looking for a property, not just in HRM, but in all of Nova Scotia!
