Awesome little local market with essentials at hand. Family run, friendly, reasonable prices and will accommodate any request. if you live in the area just let them know what you need and they will try their best to stock it regularly.
Best white bread in all of Nova Scotia! Sliced, buns, or dinner rolls — they’re all FANTASTIC! Also a big fan of the chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and butter tarts. Good product. Good people. THIS is a business well worth your support.
After watching an episode of Marketplace about the bakery sections in grocery stores, I stopped buying cakes and other baked goods. On a whim, I was glancing around the bakery section at Sobey's when I saw a tray of brownies. I thought, no way am I going to buy them. But then I saw that they were NOT baked in store, but brought in from Scott's Bakery. I bought them and to make an already long story short, I ate the entire tray by myself. Granted, it was not one of finer moments, but they were so moist and the icing was so delicious that I couldn't stop myself even if I wanted to. I'm now anxious to try the other baked goods that you sell.
Where in Truro can I get your bread the absolute best ?
Excellent spot even had subs and pizza for those who are looking for lunch.
