How did I get "captured" here? - I was only in for a minute! Well, it's shiny and clean and open - I reveled in the atmosphere I remember - all the good times I've had at Starbucks over many years, oh where have the years gone!... And the staff were nice, and helpful. So - since it's the first actual Starbucks in Truro! - (only about 30 years late - and my brother-in-law and his brother, with my assistance on the ground, tried from the beginning to get a franchise,) I haven't been in one for at least 10 years (since I came back to Truro) I got the shock of my life at the price of a package of coffee - I believe they said $18.98? I thought it was expensive 30 years ago, at maybe $7 or $8 a pound. Truly, the end of the world must be nigh. One nice barista helped me fix my face mask, and I didn't even buy any coffee - I didn't have that much cash! Oh, the times, they are a changin'...

So happy that Truro finally has a Starbucks. Great drinks. Great service.
