Dominion Chair General Store

Lots to see but not very accessable.

A very interesting country general store that still has some furniture left over from the Dominion Furniture manufacturing business that closed in 1989. A walk back in time....an amazing wooden building over 130 years old.

Always a treasure and marking was spectacular for covid.
Little liquor store to it

WOW...what a great place to stop and have a look around. The selection of items that they stock was quite surprising to me. And I didn't get a chance to see the whole store. I am slowly realizing that these little gem shops have more to offer than I expected so I need to stop in more often.

I bought a car in Halifax Saturday morning, it broke down outside the store. Worked on it as we could until we couldn’t and it got dark and cold. We went into the store for odd things we needed (bathroom, tools, food and drinks) they were extremely hospitable to us and let us keep the car parked outside till we could move it (took 4 days) but they were great the entire time. The store is a sight for sore eyes, lots of cool stuff in there and worth the stop, even if you’re local, I grew up in moose river which is close to bass river and I always loved stopping by. Always worth the stop
