(September 20, 2020, 3:22 pm)This original home is a wealth of history for all of Amherst and Nova Scotia. You must come here first, before you plan your trip around the area. The staff and volunteers are so knowledgeable and helpful it will add to your experience visiting this part of Canada. But beware of the outside cat! Very friendly with very sharp claws!

(February 13, 2019, 6:11 pm)I would visit this place every time I was in Amherst. Loved the collection of old technology. The cameras were my favourite. The staff are always eager to provide information about the history of the area.
