Spent several days here. Clean, friendly and great breakfast service. If the idea of staying in an authentic Victorian-style home appeals to you, this is a good place to get your fix.

There are four rooms in total, two with ensuite bathrooms and two with a separate, dedicated (but shared) bathroom. One room has a dedicated spare bedroom and there is a separate, stand-alone spare room as well. (Not sure if the latter is tied to a specific room or if’s available on a first-come, first-serve basis - best to inquire.) I stayed in the Maritime Room, which I found to be comfortable.

If you’re wondering about the food, breakfast is typically served at 8:30. In my experience the menu varied from day to day and the selection varied according to the number of guests present. I was happy with the “surprise me” approach but I imagine the hosts would be willing to accommodate requests where possible, according to availability and season. One can go for a light breakfast with fresh fruits, a full-on multi-course extravaganza or something in between. Pastries (ex: biscuits, cinnamon rolls) are made fresh on premises. Specialties I enjoyed were baked eggs accompanied by a fresh fruit parfait as well as absolutely decadent French toast with blueberries & cream cheese accompanied with sausages. Best to come to the table hungry... I’m pretty sure you won’t leave hungry!

Loved it here. Owners were not in, so their cousin was there instead. She was very welcoming and nice. The bed was comfortable, rooms are decorated beautifully!

Very nice breakfast and super accomodating! Knowledgeable of the area and gave suggestions of places to visit and eat. The room was comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again !

Warm and cozy. Rooms are very antique-y and rustic. Some rooms have a spare half-bedroom. Great four-poster beds. Breakfast included during high season. Best inn in town.
