I honestly don’t know where to start with Maggie and her team. When we started seriously looking for a home, we were working with another realtor and the experience was difficult to put it mildly. As the market continued to heat up, my wife and I were losing hope compounded by the fact that we just welcomed our wee baby into the world a month earlier and our nerves were shot. Then Maggie happened. I am not overstating this; Maggie was the difference. She was honest with us, ridiculously empathetic, professional, made sure our expectations were realistic and doubled as a therapist at times :) She was also so hard working and though I knew how busy she was, she always made us feel that we were her only clients and the knowledge that she has and shared gave us hope when we felt there was none previously. Maggie was available always and when I thought things were going south, she had this toughness about her that made both my wife and I feel that ‘she’s got this’. That was huge for us.

We bought a home this evening. When Maggie initially called and let me know our offer was accepted, I’m not ashamed to say I pulled over and cried like a 3 year old. When she told us tonight that we were homeowners, I cried again. We got this house because of how quickly Maggie reacted to a situation with this home. When an issue arose at the 11th hour, Maggie made it a non-issue. She was able to talk us through the inspection and things that were foreign to us as first time buyers in Nova Scotia. The whole experience was incredible. From Debbie in the office (thank you for introducing me!!!!), for getting all our viewings sorted and getting all relevant info to us while holding our hands, to our journey with Maggie finding our forever home (seriously), I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sincerest apologies if this review has rambled a wee bit but it’s truly an honour writing it. What an experience! We never thought that we would be able to afford a house within our budget, but Maggie kept on reassuring us to not lose faith in finding our dream home. Well, 2 months later and after multiple offers we bought our new home and sold our old one thanks to the unwavering support from Maggie and her team.
