Kathleen is a very knowledgeable dance teacher. She not only teaches her students the technical aspect of dance and how to be a stronger dancer, but also helps builds confidence and to not block themselves by fear for the unknown. Her passion for Highland Dance shows as she goes above and beyond not only for her students but visiting students from other provinces as well.

Kathleen is an excellent teacher and friend. She believes in teaching kids not only how to excel in dance and reach their goals, but mentors them in life outside of dance as well. She strives to help her students achieve many competitive and also personal goals and truly enjoys sharing her love for Scottish culture and highland dance.

I found an interest in highland dancing at the age of 24. I was unsure if dance schools even accepted adult beginner students and was pleasantly surprised when I found out Kathleen took pride in having an adult beginner program. With no plans to be competitive, Kathleen saw the potential in me and positively pushed me to go farther than my plans to dance once a week as a hobby. I have now competed in several dance competitions and absolutely LOVE it. If you are looking for a great dance school for Highland Dance I highly recommend Kathleen!

Kathleen is a light-hearted, fun-loving, knowledgeable teacher who shows her love of highland dance through creative and active classes. She willingly took me in as a beginner at almost 50 and I have enjoyed every minute!
