Smitty’s Family Restaurant

It’s a Smitty’s! Better yet, it’s a Smitty’s on Main St in Dartmouth. You’ll know what to expect food wise, and the service is always lovely. It’s a cozy little corner spot that’s a nice change from Cora’s and Pur&Simple.

Food was delicious, it's been a little over a year probably since my last visit, im missed going to Smitty's, before our pandemic we use to go a few times a month.

As with most things every where now the item I love at Smitty's has gone up a bit in price which is okay I understand that but I will say I was shocked when our orders arrived and it was almost half the size as it use to be. I can understand a price increase because the cost of food has gone up but to have a price increase and get way less food that made it hard to justify to myself the price increase. Unfortunately I won't be back for a while. Our bill was a bit too high leaving and not have any leftover for later which I use to have in past visits and I enjoyed them

My son took me out for a late mothers day brunch. Of course the day we decided to go eat, the restaurant was closing early to have a new grill brought in but the waitress sat us and took our order anyway. She kept telling us not to rush and topped up our coffee regularly. We took our time and had a great brunch together. Great service, amazing food and such a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks for making my day!

not gonna lie, I'm a VERY frequent customer (I take breakfast here also every week) I love the bacon lover's breakfast and the pancakes are delicious! service is always good. it could be a little slow when is full but I totally recommend trying to eat breakfast or lunch here.

We had the best waitress ever! Jackie (Jacqie) thanks for being so hospitable! You made the atmosphere so relaxing and enjoyable and the food was awesome especially the cinnamon swirl pancakes with cream cheese it’s a must have
