Kids and Co Eastern Passage was our first true daycare experience as our son had previously been in dayhomes. We are beyond happy with the staff (Shoutout to Megan, Mike, Kirsten, Nadine and Nicole), the programs, the structure that still allows for some freeplay, the facility and the meal plan.

Staff wise the ECEs are excellent. I truly believe they are so much more than just childcare providers, they are true educators. The growth and development we have seen in our son has been amazing. His speech has progressed daily. The staff have also been receptive to our team meetings and feedback/resources from our Developmental Interventionist and SLP. They have an inclusion specialist Nancy, on staff who has helped with our transitions. The Assistant director, Marcus, goes above and beyond to make us feel like our presence at the school is meaningful and we matter. He is amazing.

The hours are perfect for us. The meals are always nutritious. The end of the day snack for the ride home is such a nice touch. My son loves going to "school" and sometimes doesn't want to leave...the snack really helps make heading home easier.

For constructive feedback I would suggest when transitions into different classrooms I would suggest more than one day notice. We were told on a Thursday that my son would be joining the other class the following day. This was a bit stressful for us as transitions has been an area we needed work on and we had only been at the school for 2 months or so. They did a great job of making sure the transition was smooth and allowed some flexibility for him the following week if he needed to come back to his original classroom for a visit but I just wish we would have had a bit more notice (even just to help us with the transition). That all being said, developmentally the move was best for him and I am glad they recognized that and all worked out amazingly.

There is also a weekly newsletter sent out with pictures and updates about the weekly programming. I would suggest ensuring all parents are on the email distribution list right away as I was not for the first 3 months and I did not know it existed. So I do feel I missed out. All is well now.

I highly recommended this education center as an awesome home away from home. We look forward to our continue work with them.

My family has been with kids and company (previously depend on me) for 3 years now. From the first introduction we have absolutely loved the staff. Each teacher from different age groups seemed to get to know my kids personally. Special considerations and reporting back to me for even the smallest incident has always been a priority. The hours of operation are perfect for our transit to and from work, especially the earlier opening time. They accept children on PD days and snow days when work can’t be missed. Transportation to and from school for school aged children is provided which is amazing, especially considering the horror show that is stock transportation. They even provide pickups when school is dismissed early. Kids and company has a solution for everything. They make having a full time job for parents easy. 10/10!!

I've had my kids in a few different daycares, and this one has been the best overall. It's easy to tell the staff genuinely care about our kids on a personal level. My oldest daughter loves going to daycare and tells us wonderful stories about her adventures and things she's learned. Admittedly it feels like there have been some growing pains since the change to Kids & Co, but I know the staff are doing their best, given the circumstances. My family is looking forward to more adventures in the future.

This is such an amazing daycare. They have great program to get kids ready for school. My little man loves going here. The staff are amazing and they even have a cook on staff. They have large play areas so the little kids and big kids have their own space. We love the snack table for a snack for the ride home. This little touch makes a big difference for my drive home. Strongly recommend this daycare.
