Joe is a fantastic guitar teacher. He is passionate about music and possesses a wealth of knowledge about the guitar and song structures, in particular rock music. For over 5 years he has been the perfect guitar teacher for our son. He has a very patient and calm manner, is encouraging and engaging, and is full of interesting stories! He took our son’s guitar playing ability from fumbling to form a C chord to lead guitarist in his Junior High rock band in just over 2 years’ time. Joe is worthy of the highest praise I could give a guitar teacher!
Joe is an incredibly gifted musician. His lessons are tailored to any ability level...we took lessons as adults as did our children. He is positive, encouraging and has wonderful energy. I recommend Joe for anyone wanting to start or continue their music journey.
Joe is the best guitar teacher I have ever had! I took lessons with him about 10 years ago and still play guitar to this day! Joe is extremely patient while teaching and all around a great person! I would recommend Joe to anyone interested in getting into guitar!
Joe has been teaching our kids guitar for a few years now and they both look forward to every lesson. Both have achieved amazing feats in music under Joe's guidance. He is able to keep them engaged and is teaching them songs they love, even songs from ages before their time. Our youngest has been taking lessons with Joe a little longer than our oldest, and she has been confident enough in her playing to perform in local talent competitions and nailed down her fist gig. He also has a few fun music facts or stories to share with them every week.
It was a great experience to work with Joe. What's great about Joe’s style of teaching is that he spends time getting to know a student's musical interests and based on that, structures a lesson plan. I've found this to be tremendously useful and it's helped me become a better guitar player. Joe is also an exceptional guitar player adept at many different styles. He is very focused, infinitely patient, Friendly and ready to do what it takes to help a student progress. Needless to say his overall credentials are impeccable. I would highly recommend taking a lesson with Joe, whether you are a beginner or looking to improve your skillset.
