(October 20, 2020, 11:01 pm)I am the Chief of the Ship HMCS Sackville, which is Canada's official Naval Memorial. The ship is in a major preservation refit. We contracted Clean Earth to pump and clean bilges and ballast tanks. The working spaces are 80 years old but their teams worked hard to make them safe for the welding and other work to follow. Their professionalism has been a major component of helping to preserve this piece of Canadian history.
