I am presently finishing my third year at The Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The growth/knowledge I have learned from my instructors and clinical supervisor has prepared me to continue as a health practitioner (RMT) with multiple new skills. As well as a fresh perspective on my wholistic approach for healing the human body. The atmosphere of the school/clinic is a challenging program but the college offers all the support to successfully complete your diploma. Entering my new occupation as an Acupuncturist will bring a new lease to my professional career and endless knowledge to come. Thanks to CCATCM I know I’m able to reach out to my instructors if in need of a helping hand.
I'm currently a student here at CCATCM and it's a wonderful college! The teachers and staff are marvelous, everyone is super helpful and you always feel like you belong here. For anyone interested in Acupuncture, traditional chinese medicine and nutrition studies, I'd highly recommend checking the college out! You wont be disappointed ?
I’m currently finishing my Diploma in Acupuncture at CCATCM and have also received Acupuncture, Acupressure and fire cupping treatments by various students from the student clinic. Those that I have received treatments from have always been professional and knowledgeable.
Staff and teachers have been supportive throughout my time at CCATCM and would recommend the program for anyone wanting to expand their practice or learn a different way to assist others to heal. I can guarantee you that going through this program will allow you to view the body in a different way, including how you view yourself.
The Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture diploma is a challenging program to complete, especially the 2-year diploma, however, well worth the investment for the end result of acquiring a rewarding career.
I went to the student clinic and had an acupuncture treatment. Even though I had never tried acupuncture before, the people made me feel confident I was in good hands. The student practitioner asked me a bunch of questions about my health and why I was there for treatment and then confirmed his diagnosis with the registered acupuncturist. I didn't even feel the needles go in and then, after they left me to relax, I felt so "zen" that I nearly fell asleep on the massage table! The whole thing took an hour from start to finish and I left feeling rejuvenated and energized.
