Love this place! Great family style board brunch, free shuffle board, arcade games, awesome atmosphere and great prices. Our new go to place for brunch! Loved the pulled pork and beans and their eggs were poached perfectly!
Exceptional food and great service make this a great place for a dinner for 2 or a family outing. The Brisket and Beans are 2 of the highlights on the menu. Our last visit we had the Stack as we were with family and it did not disappoint. Lots of meat and 4 sides meant enough food for 5 people and we required take home boxes. Only reason its not 5 stars is there is no "vinegar" based BBQ Sauce to cut the richness of the Brisket.
What a surprise this place was! I was pretty excited to get in a game of shuffleboard before our food arrived! Loved the atmosphere here at Upstreet BBQ Brewhouse. The beer selection was great and our server knew the right ones to recommend what taste we were looking for ???? Food: it was absolutely delicious ???? everything was so juicy and tender; we shared a platter and it was plenty for the four of us.
We've visited a few times now and can't say that we are overly impressed. The venue is great, with a bustling atmosphere. The beer and sodas - top notch. The BBQ however, seems to need a bit of work. Overall, the BBQ is OK, but is lacking that smoke flavour that they boast about. The food feels commercialized.
Our last visit was for both burger week and brunch. The burger was good, although the smoked brisket needed more smoke. However, the fries were frozen. This has changed from the fresh cut fries we had when the place first opened. Brunch was disappointing. The "pulled pork hash" was nothing more than frozen potato cubes, deep fried and covered with some pulled pork. Eggs were good, correctly cooked in both soft poached and over easy form, something that a lot of places don't always do right. The meals however, were pricey. We probably won't be back for brunch based on the frozen products and higher price. Overall, the place is OK, but we were looking for more. Good luck to them.
Went on a busy Friday night. Got sat at a table right away, only made the reservation an hour before. Food was awesome, ribs were cooked perfectly and the pulled pork was great. Choice of BBQ sauces were tasty, lots of variety, maybe one with some serious kick is in order though. Atmosphere was super cool. Overall 5/5
