USTA Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant

We have been in Canada for about 2 weeks. Coming up through Maine and into Canada along the Bay Of Fundy, we had really chowed down on seafood and by the time we got to Halifax, we were ready for something different. Looking at restaurant around Halifax I found ISTA Turkish and it really looked good and the food was as good as it looked in the pictures-in fact it was maybe the best restaurant we had tried in Canada or Maine.
The lamb chops-and the chicken in milk-great and make sure you have the Mezze sampler.
This is a can't miss restaurant.

Great beet salad topped with moist chicken! Wanted to bring half home for supper but ate it all. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals

Beautiful restaurant with great staff and delicious meals with a great choice of wines and beer. Service was quick and polite, and the ambience was peaceful and cozy. Will definitely be returning!

This is one of the best meals I've had in quite some time. The tea was very flavorful and tasty, and the tables are provided with their own pitchers of high quality water.

The service was fantastic, as was all of the food. The lamb at Usta is perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that requires food to survive.

My only regret is that I didn't try any appetizers. Next time, I'll be sure to do so.

This was an exciting hidden gem, right on my own backyard. The meal, atmosphere and service were all impeccable. A definite addition to my regular spots.
I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that the chicken I had was the best I've ever tasted. Incredible. Thank you!
