  I shopped at value village in Dartmouth from the day they opened . It used to be a great place to get a bargain ; not any more ; the prices have gone up so high you might as well shop retail ; prices are the same .; only thing different is retail the items are new. As most of the things are donated ; the prices should reflect that and they don’t. The End.

  The food was out of this world! We had a group of 10 for a Birthday celebration, and our server knocked it out of the park. Everything came out together, and hot, nothing took too long at all. The price was exactly what we expected.

  I am not a very big fan of Value Village, and I have hardly shopped there since I found a pair of brand new Old Navy jeans there with the original sale tags still on them at 97 cents, and value village was trying to charge $14.99!! I brought it right up to the cash and I said "if you guys are gonna rip people off, at least take the tags off first" and I didn't buy a single thing from there for like 2 years.
  
  With that being said, I have seen some very reasonably priced items there much more recently, like a $5 nightstand, and like a $15 mirror, or $12 curtains. But man, that whole jeans thing really put me off for a while.

  I actually really enjoy this location, and i have noticed the prices have decreased here slightly which is nice to see and has me making some purchases again, This was likely due to the lack of sales and costumer complaints about charging "retail" prices, I'm assuming. My only two complaints is they often only have one person on the cash and you have so many other employees around but it seems to take forever for a second person to jump on cash. my second complaint is the men's bathroom is ALWAYS beyond foul, It's in desperate need of a cleaning!
