Great workout for the easy hike enthusiasts it's quite a tree out to the point but we'll worth it...pack a snack and sit on the rocks on the hillside after exploring the bunker.
Relaxing, scenic views, dress in layers temperature changes. An enjoyable day!!
A beautiful hike along the ocean, the waves here are huge so it's a perfect hike to witness how powerful the ocean can be. Sometimes seals can be spotted on the offshore rocks and playing in the wavy water, so it's a good idea to keep you eyes peeled during the hike.
There are also some historic WW2 Bunkers that you can check out along the way, so it's a nice hike for those interested in Canada's history as well. It can get quite muddy in the fall so it's a good idea to wear shoes that are waterproof or runners that you are okay with getting dirty. Definitely wear foot wear with good grip though, the rocks are uneven and it's important to have appropriate footwear!
One of my favourite places I've ever been in Nova Scotia. Such a beautiful hike with amazing scenery and good variation in terrain throughout. Highly recommend checking this out.
Best hike in all of Halifax. It's so beautiful there every time I go. The trail is perfect for having fun and roaming around and going to the difference bases at the end of the trail. It is a little chilly tho so dress warm
