(August 2, 2016, 12:09 pm)This is a great little public life-guarded sandy beach, with a floating dock, boat launch, and grassy picnic area. The fresh water is exceptionally clean as the lake is primarily supplied through underground aquifers. The only drawbacks are that it's very small compared to most N.S. beaches; and being on a lake there's not much for surfing ...unless you wind-surf :)
