This is a wonderful hike close to the city! Spectacular views, rugged granite and lots to explore. Great for kids - just stay away from the darker rocks and steep edges!
Beautiful view and the rocks made the trail that much more entertaining to walk.
This was one of my favourite Halifax hikes that I have done this summer. It goes along the coast through a few sections of rough and hard to find path. But the views are azing and the excercise from the hike is great!
Love this spot for when I need a quick fix of the ocean, and a short little hike. Gets pretty muddy, so the last few times I've worn my rubber boots. Wonderful views, and a mildly challenging terrain, definitely enough to get your blood pumping. The parking lot is often very riddled with litter, I try to fill up a bag at the end of my hike to dispose of at the nearest gas station.
Beautiful spot to visit that's just a short drive out of town. A small hike down the path leads to some pretty amazing views of the Atlantic. It almost seems like you're not even close to Halifax.
Also makes for one of the most romantic spots to take your partner if they like water and the outdoors
Drive out a little further and you can stop for some fish and chips at a local restaurant.
