Gorgeous beach when I visited in the Winter months.
Great spot for the Family...lots of room to have your own little piece of beach to chill
Beautiful but still recovering from a storm several years ago.
We love going to Queensland Beach. There’s so much sand and it’s quite long. Great for taking walks and it very rarely feels over crowded. The water seems to be warm enough for swimming more often than other beaches in the area and I love that it is fairly easy to access by bicycle.
Like many beaches and provincial parks in NS, there isn’t much parking on site, so unless you arrive very very early in the day, expect to park on the side of the highway and walk about 1-2km to get to the beach. It’s worth it!!!
Smaller beach. Not very wide but long. There was a lifeguard on duty. They don’t seem to clean the beach so it was covered with seaweed which was quite smelly. I will consider bringing a garden rake next time to clear a spot. Bring your own umbrella because there are no trees along the beach. There is a hamburger stand across the street but no other food around. There are change rooms and outhouse type washrooms but no running water or hand sanitizer so bring your own.
