Cacao 70 Eatery/Dip Shop

I came here with my Mom for Mother's Day, and it was fantastic! We ordered 2 desserts (waffles and a marshmallow roasting plate) but in hindsight one dessert is definitely big enough for 2 people to share. THEN they gave my mom a free dipped soft serve ice cream, because it was Mother's Day, which was divine. Great quality chocolate and flavours all around. And the staff were absolute sweethearts. Can't wait to go back!

If you love chocolate, you must go here. Someone spent a lot of time devising the menu. I love chocolate, but I never thought there were so many ways to serve it. They also have other food items so you can have lunch or dinner before the Chocolate!

Delicious! We were walking on the boardwalk looking for something sweet to eat when we saw Cacao 70! Having been to a location in Montreal previously, I already knew what to expect. The food was delicious and VERY chocolatey :) staff was very friendly.

Each time in Halifax since last fall, I go to pick an American-style Hot Chocolate, made with Dark chocolate. Never dissapointed! I'm so glad these are making it work there and wish them all the best for their first full tourist season 2019!

Chocolate lovers must go .. this coco70 special hot chocolatier is not real .. very fancy taste of chocolate.. many shareable plates which makes it fun to go as group for birthday celebrations... will be definitely going there more often specially in the summer .. the only annoying part is that you have to park away as it is in the core of waterfront .. if you park in Marriott hotel and leave from the behind door might not be as bad .. also in the summer you will be passing through their on your way to caws ice cream .. going to be interesting which sweet to chose in the summer .. chocolate ice cream zone !
