One of the entrance for big cruise ship.
Highly recommend this very informative museum. So interesting to see how immigration has evolved in Canada. As recent immigrants ourselves, who have moved out of choice rather than need, it was very moving to watch the 20min film on a while range of people who have immigrated over the last 20 years, mostly out of need. Even our 5&6 year olds say through it without fidgeting. Other exhibition was also worth while, while we were there it was an exhibition of Yousuf Karsh's photographs.
A nice port with a good amount of historical artifacts and shops.
Although the plaza in general isn't the prettiest, it has a real train rolling stock which adds to the history of Pier 21 (you can learn about how the railroad contributed to the transportation of millions of immigrants). There are also a few statues and plaques to learn more about immigrants too.
Home of Canada's Immigration Museum, truly a remarkable place to visit.
