Can’t go inside but lots of signage outside describing the history and purpose of the Prince of Wales Tower. Neat spot to stop by for some photos and learning.
It’s awesome place to visit during winters, especially when it’s snow. The entire point pleasant park is covered in snow and it has breathtaking view. You can find lot of people for walk here with their pets. This place is also national historic site.
Even though the tower was closed due to Covid, it is still nice to stroll around the structure. You can learn about the history of the tower and its purpose.
I like to take the family to Point Pleasant Park and visit this old fortification. It is interesting to be able to sort of step back in history in such a magnificent old building.
It's a really awesome piece of history. Great informative plates to tell the history of this secret Halifax treasure. The building is also big enough to provide a lot of shade on hot sunny days like today.
