Talya's Taverna

This place is wonderful! We were in the area and were looking for a bakery cafe and found this spot.
The raspberry tart was devine! Glad it's not too close to us, we would be there every day.
The cafe was the real stuff, good and strong.
We picked up a couple other goodies. Cookies which were tasty and not too sweet, as well as orange pastry.
It's a good place to go and the owner was very sweet!

Went there for the first time recently. Loved their selection of pastries. We picked up their honey cake and almond cake and it was so delicious. Price wise you get good value for your money. Love how they focus on taste with more butter and less sugar. Will definitely be going back.

Impromptu visit to Talya's Taverna and was the best trip. Found rye bread that have been looking for a while. Treats are amazing. Got the lemon tart. Peach cookies and poppy seed sweet bread. Definitely my go to spot from now on and would check out all the other goods if these are a sneak peek into what they have. The service is very pleasant. You don't see the poppy seed bread as we inhaled it.

Stopped by today on a whim and we were not disappointed!! We tried the chocolate rolls, cinnamon rolls(soooo good) and lemon tarts! All were delicious! Lovely little treat!
I forgot to add, the service was great! The lady at cash was so kind! Thanks for the little cookies! They were great!

The meringue, cherry cookie rolls and sweet challah were delicious! Highly recommend if you are wanting to expand your palate, and even better if you are wanting to show support to our Ukrainian neighbors.
