I lived in Alberta, and had my first set of dentures in March of last year. I got to have the option of "immediate dentures", meaning I didn't have to wait to heal, as they use soft/temporary liners and replace the liner as your gums heal over a 12 month period. I moved back to NS in May after receiving my second soft liner in AB. I searched all over the HRM and google for a denture clinic that knew about and could deal with immediate dentures and soft/temporary liners. I had given up as my gums were not ready for permanent dentures. I was desperately needing a new soft liner. I physically went into 2 different denture clinics and they had no idea what I was needing. I was sent away with I'll fitting dentures due to their inability to provide soft liners. During the holidays I discovered a crack in my denture, most likely due to my now I'll fitting dentures. I decided to google denture clinics again, and I was so happy to see a new listing...Monarch! When I looked at their website I was super happy to see that they offer immediate dentures and deal in soft liners, and they were close to my location, in Porter's Lake. I called and got in to see Anna right away. She was helpful and was quick to assure me that she was going to help me be confident with my smile once again. I had the crack repaired and a new soft liner added. My dentures fit now and I couldn't be happier. I look forward to going back for my permanent denture later this year as well as going back for any denture needs I may have come up.
Monarch Denture clinic is friendly, helpful, and aware of new dentures technologies out there. The older denture clinics in the HRM need to up their game. My generation is starting to need these services and we don't want to go weeks or months without teeth. Immediate dentures are the way to go!
