Blueprint was referred to us by a colleague. Our house was designed with the help of a draftsman/architect along with the expertise of Blueprint. The guys at Blueprint (Corey, Daniel, Adam, Ricardo) were very helpful and attentive throughout the process. They operate with a high level of professionalism and transparency and were very responsive to our numerous requests. They work very well together, along with all of their subs who were also great, and you’re left feeling like you’re part of a family. There were certainly challenges. We designed the new house and demolished the old house before the pandemic hit, but then COVID happened and we were faced with delays and higher costs for certain materials like lumbar. During this unprecedented time, Blueprint stuck to their pre-existing timelines very closely and always helped us find lower-cost alternatives where possible. We feel very fortunate to have connected with such a great group of people. Our neighbors across the street told us they were impressed with how considerate and well-mannered the Blueprint guys and their subs were throughout the process. We certainly would not have entered into this process if we felt like we couldn’t trust our contractor, but we had a good feeling about Corey and Daniel from the start and we’re very happy with our new home.

Blueprint Construction deserves more than five stars in this review. They built our new home for us in Nova Scotia while we were in Saskatchewan.
During the build, COVID 19 hit and we were restricted from travelling. We were not able to come out and see the progress or choose fixtures, flooring, etc. We can't imagine this build progressing like it did with a company other than Blueprint Construction. Not only did we receive full weekly updates with pictures and details of work completed and work planned, but we were included in every decision made onsite. We relied heavily on their professional suggestions and responsive communications and developed a relationship of confidence and trust.
Blueprint went above and beyond for us accommodating our distance with virtual onsite visits and initiating zoom meeting with local suppliers. All of the sub trades that Blueprint contracts reflect the work ethic of the company which is to build homes using quality craftsmanship.
This is our dream home.We could not have accomplished that without builders who shared that dream.

The entire experience with Blueprint Construction has been positive from start to finish. Corey and Daniel were transparent, professional and their team worked to ensure we understood all aspects of our project, including costs and the implications of changes we made along the way.

We would definitely recommend Blueprint Construction to anyone who is considering a major renovation. Our project was substantial and everything turned out great. The work done was professional and of high quality. Their sub-trades used for certain aspects of the renovation were also excellent. Feedback from family and friends has been fantastic.

The communication throughout the process was clear, timely and helped ensure the project flowed smoothly. Weekly updates with pictures helped keep us abreast of progress even when we could not be personally present at our home.

Honestly - when was the last time you heard someone who lived through their renovation for 3 months say that they would 100% recommend their builders without hesitation? And when pressed by interested parties about any challenges with either the construction company / the crew / their subs etc, couldn't come up with any? This was our experience with Blueprint. 5 stars +.

Blueprint understands the value of communication and relationship building as being foundational to any project's success. It doesn't hurt that every employee we met and put tools to our home were courteous and highly skilled.

We always knew where we were in terms of scope, budget and timing for the project. We had scheduled updates complete with photos about what had been accomplished the week before and what was to come in the following week (and what to expect). We also had clear invoices and receipts for materials AND an admin team that worked hard to make our dollar go further. The entire team worked hard to collaborate on solutions to any unforeseen issues that most contractors would've willfully overlooked or simply made executive decisions about while passing the unforeseen costs along.

We approached Blueprint with two very pragmatic 'need to haves' and of course many 'nice to haves'. They never lost focus on the 'need to haves' and found a way to deliver on the 'nice to haves' within our budget.

If it is within our power, we will never undertake another reno project without Blueprint. A huge thanks to Corey, Daniel and the whole crew.

We were so fortunate to have Blueprint complete our home renovation. We love our newly renovated house and could not be happier. The quality of work they provide is top notch and the crew is fantastic. They were always polite, on time, and clean!! Not to mention super guys.

Once we moved out of our home (the reno was extensive) the crew moved in and they meant business. The demo was impressive and quick.

All of the permits were taken care of and timely. There were very few delays, and most were our doing by making a change here and there.

The team at Blueprint were open to our ideas and unless it could not be done, they found a way to make it happen.

They work with reputable and talented trades people (plumbing, electrical, wood flooring, drywall,etc) and there was never a worry that time (or money) was being wasted.
