Food was very good and the customer service is very good. If your server is Maddy she is wonderful.

This was a real win in the "off the beaten track" catagory. As a family restaurant/bar this is clearly a focal point for the local community. The expertly prepared food, local beers, charismatic service and loyal patrons made it feel like coming home after a long, hard day and it was only lunch time! If we pass through the area again we will be sure stop in.

The food was good and the people were nice. Definitely worth stopping here.

Great pub that is off the beaten track. Had the classic club sandwich with a cesar salad. Excellent pairing with the local draft “Principal Ale”.

The food here is excellent. Their pan fried haddock cannot be beat, nor can their fish cakes. It's a bit of a drive outside of Halifax but you will not be disappointed.
