(August 1, 2019, 1:58 am)This was a real win in the "off the beaten track" catagory. As a family restaurant/bar this is clearly a focal point for the local community. The expertly prepared food, local beers, charismatic service and loyal patrons made it feel like coming home after a long, hard day and it was only lunch time! If we pass through the area again we will be sure stop in.

(May 29, 2019, 4:58 pm)The food here is excellent. Their pan fried haddock cannot be beat, nor can their fish cakes. It's a bit of a drive outside of Halifax but you will not be disappointed.
