This is well worth the stop to have Captain Dean not only work very hard to find you a whale but to show you some of the most beautiful landscapes and scenery of the Cape Breton Highlands you can only see from the ocean. Dean is very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife and it is evident that he loves what he does. It would be a mistake not to take a trip with Cheticamp Adventure Co.

Yesterday my family and I had the pleasure of experiencing a whale tour with this company. Dean - our captain - was extremely knowledgeable about the sea life and was able to answer any and all questions we had - not to mention was a delight to have as a tour guide. I was in awe to not only be able to see whales - in addition- dean brought us to see seals, sea birds AND caves. Truthfully these were all amazing things to see but the views were UNMATCHED. We were able to see the trail from the most beautiful view - it could not be put into words. This was truly a breathtaking experience accompanied by and incredible guide and we couldn’t be more happy. I will tell everyone and anyone that if they are in this area, this would definitely be something to check off your bucket list.

We had an awesome time whale watching. We tried booking the day before via phone, however we didn’t receive a call back until the next day. We took the chance and drove all the way from Sydney, for 2 hours , to arrive when it opens and hopefully take a chance that they had availability for us. We were able to book ourselves with the 3:00 pm cruise. We dealt with Dean(hope I spelled your name correctly) and he was very pleasant and friendly. He took the time to tell us all the safety rules before departure. He took us out further than expected to ensure we saw whales. He then drove the boat along the coastline, to view the spectacular vistas of cliffs, coves and shorelines. We definitely recommend this cruise. You will not be disappointed.

Myself,son and daughter had an amazing adventure today!!!! Definitely worth every penny. Captain very informative and eager to show us anything we wanted to see, from whales, caves and waterfalls!!!!
