Ocean View Motel and Chalets

The lady at front desk wax very nice. Recommended local eateries. Very easy check out in morning. Office is only open between 10 and 11 am. We left before that, the caretaker took keys and wished us well. The location is a 10 plus! Right on ocean with breath taking sunsets right in front of you. Offers both rooms and mini chalets for rent. Resonible priced in today's market.

My girlfriend and I chose this location to start our Cabot Trail trip, and it was the best area we could have chosen!! Even before our arrival, we had great communication with one of the Yvette's haha - they ensured we were free of questions and ready to start our trip. Upon arrival, it was an extremely easy check-in; a friendly conversation, pay for the night, grab the key and head on up. Although the choice of food and such in the area was different than what we were used to, we ate at the l'Abri and it was nothing short of amazing and it was located RIGHT next to us!

The room was perfect! Extremely cozy, welcoming, and all in all was an extremely amazing chalet to stay in.

We will be returning here for our yearly Cabot Trail trip!! Worth six stars if I could give it!

We booked a chalet for a night here while youring the Cabot Trail. The chalet was adorable and suited all our needs. The ned was very comfortable!
The view is absolutely gorgeous, and Yvette was an absolute pleasure!

We stayed 3 nights in September and stayed in a chalet. Everything you need is there in kitchen with coffee pot,microwave, dishes,pans,cutlery, 2 burner stove and mini fridge. Could use some new towels .Check in was easy and Yvette was really nice.The guys that do house cleaning came by every morning to see what we needed and were very polite. Nice stay near the cabot trail. Beautiful views.

We booked two nights at the Oceanview Motel and Chalets in Cheticamp for our road trip in Cape Breton.

Our chalet was clean and functional, if a little outdated. It had everything we needed: plates and cutlery, a mini fridge, a hair dryer, etc. the towels were brown which was actually nice for taking off makeup, though they were clearly getting old. They were also quite small!

Check in was quick and simple, and we were provided with a list of nearby restaurants and attractions upon checkin, as well as coupons for discounted beer at the Doryman Pub.

From here, you're walking distance to several restaurants and attractions, and a quick drive to everything else. We were happy with our stay!
