“We've stayed here twice with a ten year gap and the chalets/grounds remain in excellent condition. Comfortable queen/king size beds in large private bedrooms, large sitting area for lounging in front of a fire place (some are wood burning...wood not supplied...but are being phased out in favour of safer/cleaner propane), fully equipped kitchens with full fridge/stove/oven/ microwave/dishwasher. Short walk to a private beach to watch sunsets.”

“The lady at front desk wax very nice. Recommended local eateries. Very easy check out in morning. Office is only open between 10 and 11 am. We left before that, the caretaker took keys and wished us well. The location is a 10 plus! Right on ocean with breath taking sunsets right in front of you. Offers both rooms and mini chalets for rent. Resonible priced in today's market.”

“Rooms were old...looked clean but tub lining all worn off...ick. skipped shower there. Looks like run down. Stairs to get upstairs were old, narrow, and patched up. Nice view upstairs. Windows and curtains were 80's for sure. And it wasn't the cheapest in that area. Not for me.”

“Amazing hotel. It was a cute suite. Loved the reception free check in. The room bathroom were all so clean. The special thing about the room though is want to call out is the smell. It was so so fragrant. I would love to know what it is that they used. The bedding was comfortable. The snacks they provided was super sweet. Common area had more along with all major kitchen appliances. They had an exercise room and hot tub too which we didnt use. The decor and lights were really good. Parking was ample. View was spectacular. Although its on the trail we didn’t hear the traffic. Highly recommend for a cheticamp stay.”

“This cozy nest is the most central spot for the sunniest adventures. Every morning we woke up and made our coffee and breakfast, packed a lunch for the days adventure and made it home in time to catch the sunset. The space is cozy and clean with a private porch overlooking the Gulf of St Lawrence. Nearby we hiked above the clouds, swam in a mine, floated down a river and danced to local live music in town. This is THE place to stay when exploring the cabot trail. Rain or shine you have endless possibilities.”

“The camp sites are pretty tight together and not overly private. As far as location is concerned, it really can't be beat. However, the bathrooms are not well insulated so they're very cold, very dated and somewhat unkempt. The paint is peeling and chipping on the doors and the hot water takes a very long time to heat up. If you are going for the location? 5 stars. If you're going for privacy? 4 stars. If you're going for the bathroom? 3 stars - at best.”
