We stayed at Point Cross Campground in September 2023. We found the hosts, Lisa and Vic, to be friendly, helpful, and accommodating! The views from the beach sites are amazing! We saw seals, an eagle, and what my husband thought was a harbor porpoise! Our favorite memory was a sunset stroll on the gorgeous beach! You won't be disappointed!
Welcoming, friendly stay from start to finish. Lisa and Vic are great hosts and are creating a unique spot on the Cabot Trail. Cape Breton Island is a one-of-a-kind experience and staying on the beach at Point Cross RV Park captures the best of everything. We especially liked watching the kids next door catch fish right off the beach. We are from Maine and love Atlantic Canada. This RV Park is worth finding. Dottie & Mike
We loved our stay here. It was so amazing falling asleep to the sounds of the waves from the ocean. Our dog and kids loved swimming in the water. The owner was so helpful and nice. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer.
Owners are friendly, discounts for First Responders too! We chose to have the beachfront experience and it did not disappoint. You have no power or water but there is water up by the main office to fill your tank. We had a small generator we ran a few times for a short while. There’s no showers on-site, you do have to use the one in your RV. The beach was part sand part rock, kids loved it, the water clean and fresh. The sunset was spectacular!
Point Cross is an absolutely the most amazing place to stay. Campsite was perfect and super nice. Wished we could of stayed longer, love the beach. We had all 3 hook ups by the wooded stream. Vic and Lisa were the most hospitable couple we meet on our Cabot Trails trip, they even joined us for Happy Hour by the campfire to share stories. They took care of everything that we needed to make this one of most memorable places we stayed. Will a 100% go back and stay longer.
