We are very happy with both the system and the service. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and personable. We have had the system for a year now and they don't hesitate to answer our questions and make sure we are satisfied.
Sooo I rarely write reviews as I'm pretty particular and have to be really impressed by a company to take the time to do so.
Acadia Refrigeration was one of three local Valley companies I asked to provide a quote for our heat pump system. I didn't choose them because they were the lowest price (even though they were), but because they were super professional, responsive and focused on providing exactly what I wanted and needed. The site visit and quote experience felt more like a true assessment by a certified professional and not a pitch by a sales guy. And everything was included in a single clear price - whereas I felt like the other companies were nickel and diming me - charging extra for stands and trays and things that should just be part of the system.
The installation experience was flawless, thanks to a pre-install site visit to double check everything. I was worried about having holes cut in our ceiling or walls but their electrician was able to route it through existing channels, and everything was set up, connected and programmed in a day with no damage and everything left neat and tidy. The installers were courteous and professional, and simply the kind of guys you don't mind having in your house for a day.
They even made sure to schedule our job to take advantage of a manufacturer rebate, and they helped me fill out my Efficiency NS rebate paperwork. I frankly can't think of anything else they could have done to deliver a better customer experience.
P.S. Based on my experience, I'm a tiny bit suspicious about the two one-star reviews on here, and it's part of the reason why I took the time to tip the scales a bit back to reality. I recommend Acadia without hesitation.
