Rand Guesthouse

Warm and cozy with two wood stoves. One upstairs and one down. Has all the comforts of home. Have only ever been there in the winter months. We had a ball with a bonfire outside and a hill to slide on. BBQ available. Reg is a great host and will help you however he can. Bring your skates , sleds, snowshoes,cross country skis . Curl up by the fire with a book and hot cocoa. A perfect little hidden gem.

I hosted my wedding here in August 2017. The house was amazing for my husband and I to stay in right on site before and after the wedding and reception! The house itself has so much character and detail, and is decorated perfectly to match its location near the water and also its history (over 100 years old). It was perfect for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the morning and made for fantastic photos. It also had everything you could possibly think of to live..from cooking to sleeping to games and relaxation. We had a tent to host our over 200 guests right in the back yard, and Reg, the owner, made sure that the grounds were beautifully maintained and was very accommodating for whatever we needed to set up for the wedding.
Overall this guest house made for a wonderful place to host our wedding! We will return to stay here on vacation to relax and enjoy the home and area!!

My friends and I love spending time at the Rand Guesthouse. It's a beautiful property rich with so much history. Serene surroundings overlooking water. Great for hiking and beaches nearby. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. My favorite place to visit each year.. summer and winter both. Great for snowshoeing /skiing in winter.
