Pleasant Paddling

The archipelago off Blue Rocks is a fantastic spot to explore the ocean in protected waters while taking in the wildlife and the history of the region. The wonderful helpful staff were quick to get us ready to go and had many great suggestions on where to explore for my adventure. Whether going on a tour or creating your own route, I’d highly recommend checking out Pleasant Paddling!

My friend and I paied to rent a nice double kayak overnight for an excellent price and paddled out through a seal colony where the seals came up 10-15 feet from the boat. Then proceeded to Sacrafice Island where they had a beautiful sandy beach with a picnic table inland and a spot to pitch your tent. Paddled back the next day, a wonderful experience and a highlight on my east coast road trip.

My family of 4, including an 8yo boy and 4yo girl participated in the Paddle to the Seals tour today. The views along the route were spectacular, the guides (Finn and Lucas) were friendly and knowledgeable, and the snack break spot and refreshments were perfect. All in all a great experience for the family! Thanks to all!

Professional kayak outfit with great guides who are knowledgeable about the region and have some great stories. Bluerocks is a really beautiful area to paddle. Very authentic and unique landscape and fishing villages. We had a really special afternoon
