The spices from Big Cove Foods make everything we cook so much better! They give us so many more options and inspiration for meal ideas, and they liven up and energize our old favourites. Frozen broccoli pan fried with Sunshine Blend is *chef's kiss*.
I highly recommend their spices for anyone who wants to get into the kitchen more often, or just have more fun when they're in there! Oh, and the caramels and jellies are absolutely out of this world.
The root beer jelly is stuff of dreams, the salted caramel is the best in the world, the spices are incredible. The sunshine blend was perfect for our sweet potato fries, and the espresso nice spiced up our pork loin perfectly. These people are culinary geniuses. Ordering was easy and shipping was fast. I will definitely order from them again.
Delicious spices and the caramels were a big hit at my house. Delivery was prompt despite Covid. Thanks!
The Kilted Chef Team
In 2019 we came up with a concept to develop a branded seasoning. We were very clear on what we wanted, but we had no idea how to go about bringing it to fruition. That's when we teamed up with Big Cove Foods.
Sarah and Dave worked with us through every step of the process. From ensuring that we had the correct blend, making sure that we met all safety guidelines, helping us develop a label that was market ready, and helping us source out packaging.
The partnership between the Kilted Chef and Big Cove Foods ensured that our foray into the production side of our business was a seamless transaction. We would even say that they made the process not only educational but an extremely fun one as well.
I bought one of their spices to try out and I loved it! I believe it was their Egyptian spice which had tremendous flavour. I have used it on lamb and pork when making tacos. It is an excellent buy. Great job to Big Cove foods!
