Whitney's Corner Store

Went for a nice meal. Good service and good food. Also bought some frozen sausage and a few Kirkland products.

My wife and I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. Being originally from a neighbouring community, i know fresh fish. And it was fresh. Very friendly staff.

I haven't had any of their hot sandwiches yet, but their cold turkey sandwich was great (remove the pickle if you aren't into pickles), and their "oatmeal peanut butter chocolate chip cookies" were amazing! Definitely stop in and have a wander around before you continue on...

We were traveling with our camper and happened to pass Whitney's Corner Store because a ferryman had the tip against us, that you can eat fish and chips here. What can I say, it was the best service I have ever encountered and it was the best fish and chips meal I have eaten so far. The fish was fresh and baked in homemade butter, the salad was fresh and delicious, the fries were yummy and crispy. When we did not know which salad we were supposed to choose, we were allowed to try all four before to decide which one tastes best. Wow, thanks for this special and warm service.
