Sterling Square Apartments

We loved this property the moment Ms.Tracy gave us the tour. We wanted to be part of the community. WE LOVE WEST BRANT. This is perfect for us!!! Hope to be here soon!! Ms.Tracy is kind and compassionate lady. She listens and understand with soo much empathy. Godbless her.

I was beyond excited when I found out from Tracey I had been approved to move into Sterling Square, she had made my day! I am very familiar with the area from previously had lived in Brantford for 30 years. My commute to work would double in time but moving into a brand new building with in suite laundry, and gym facilities available, being closer to family what first sold me on this place when I booked a viewing! I give 5 stars for the construction of the building, I love my new apartment with high ceilings, high end materials, big windows which brings in so much natural light, very quiet building! Couple downside is not being able to get cold water first thing in the morning without having to run tap for 5-10min as I was told nothing can be done to fix it! And paying $100 per month to park outside when I hear it is the same amount for underground parking.

The reason for my 3 stars review is because of experiences I’ve personally gone thru, prior to moving in I had requested for bedroom measurements on 3 separate occasions by email, in person during grand opening and by phone which I was told they would get me this info each time and I never received it. I questioned a charge on my account back in January by email which I have not seen a response. The morning of my 8am appointment to pick up my keys for my new place, I drove in 45min from out of town to pick up my keys as scheduled to only be told sorry you need to come back after 2pm (apparently an email was sent out but I did not receive this email until 10:02am) but seeing others get their keys that morning was very disheartening.

Some of my emails are not being acknowledged, I have to follow up by email or call and when I have asked, I’m being told they are having issues with emails. What is being done to address this issue?

I absolutely love my new living space! The minute I met Tracey and was shown the beautiful show suites I knew Sterling Square is where I wanted to live. Tracey helped me pick the perfect suite that was suitable for my needs and made the whole moving experience easy and comfortable. The suite is very spacious with lots of closet space! The open concept is beautiful as I can have my whole family over for dinner and not feel crowded. The In Suite laundry and dishwasher is a bonus! My 3 large windows bring in so much sunlight, it makes the space always feel bright and warm. All the staff has been extremely kind and helpful. They do little events here almost every week that truly make you feel like you’re part of a community. So happy to be living in such a beautiful space and friendly environment!

I've had a great experience dealing with the Community Directors. They have been helpful getting everything settled for the move in. The only thing that I would like to see coming in the near future (by no means does this change my rating) is some EV charging spots for the community there. I am sure there are some hybrid or fully electric vehicles for tenants and it would be a great bonus for not only the current tenants, but it would be a key selling point for the buildings, as there are no other apartments that offer this.

Had an absolutely amazing time with Tracey and her staff. They helped me choose the correct unit for my needs on top of giving me all of the information I needed to make my decision. Even signing the paperwork was effortless thanks to her help. I would strongly recommend the Sterling Square staff for your renting needs!
