People and dogs should be walking the perimeter of the park. Standing in one place or sitting on benches for long periods , gives your dog a sense of territory.
Owners should be watching their dog to make sure the dog's behavior is acceptable and ready to correct. If your constantly on your phone , you are not watching your dog.
Balls and toys should not be in the park , since some dogs are ball aggressive.
For the most part , there are a lot of responsible dog owners.
I think the rules of the park need to be boldly posted and people need to be educated.
Large fenced in area with shade, benches and poop bags provided.
This is a great place to let your dog(s) run around and play
Park is big and lots of room. For improvements I would suggest work on the parking lot and driveway, which are covered in potholes.
A water source is really critical at the dog park, this park does not have one.
There is not much shade during the summer months.
Some spots are super muddy but staff do respond quickly to fill with wood chips.
To really make an improvement to this park, a small area for smaller dogs would be awesome.
